See Sharp's tour tune-up

Singer Sarah Sharp has a theory on why musicians stick around Austin : It's not because it's easy to make it here -- it's not. They stay because they love it here. Her optimism translates to her music, which her producer Dan Workman describes as "Aimee Mann on Prozac."

Tonight Sharp is celebrating the release of her first CD, "Fourth Person."   Popular Irish musician Mark Geary will open for her at the show and on her upcoming tour. Sharp first heard Geary play last year at South by Southwest.  She was captivated immediately. "When watching him it just sort of clicked:  This is how I am supposed to be doing it," she said. "He is the perfect example of a musician who is doing it right."
