Jonathan Terrell is known for his explosive, cosmic, country live shows and deeply personal songwriting that bounces somewhere between Townes Van Zandt, Springsteen, and David Lynch. Terrell weaves his strange designs of Western, folk, and rock 'n' roll into a sound uniquely Texan and positively otherworldly.

Since his breakout album, Westward, Terrell has garnered high praise from Rolling Stone, RS Country, Forbes, and American Songwriter. He has toured internationally, played Stagecoach, performed at Red Rocks, and even had a 55-show stint playing guitar and singing harmonies in the Grammy-nominated country band, Midland.

With his fifth studio album of genre-bending country, disco, and psychedelia, DOVE (which came from a dream), Terrell has once again burned his own sound to the ground and emerged from the ashes, reinvented with help from members of The Black Pumas, Midland, Silverada, and Depeche Mode. “In my dream,” says Terrell, “I was in a record store, and I pulled a record from the shelf with a big ‘ole dove on the cover. I asked the clerk at the counter whose record that was. He looked up from his magazine and said, “That’s your record. Time to fly.””
